Do you have a new product or service in your practice that you are excited about launching? Using social media in your launch is a great way to get the word out on what’s up and coming at your practice!

Check out some of our creative tips to get some buzz, awareness, and word of-mouth marketing through your different social media outlets.

Tip #1 Create a video that you can upload onto YouTube, Facebook and Vine!

Creating short and informative videos of what your new product or service can do is a great way for people to get a feel for what you’re offering and feel comfortable about coming into your office for a consultation.

For example, let’s say you now offering a new body contouring treatment. Try shooting a short video of yourself next to the new laser or device, explaining how simple and effective the procedure is. You don’t have to get to fancy- a smart phone video camera will work just fine, and keeping your video around 1-3 minutes is just enough. Don’t forget to smile and be yourself!

If you have an opportunity to show the machine in action with a patient, go for it! The more videos you have showing a procedure the better! People love to watch how things work.

Tip #2 Create a sense of excitement about what’s to come at your practice!

Creating teasers of what is coming soon is a great way to get people excited about what you’re up too. People love to feel like they have insider information about something that is coming soon! Post some “clues” in the weeks leading up to the launch. You can also create a VIP email list for fans to get news & information before anyone else. You can also make your audience feel special by offering them a discount on the product or service for being a loyal fan.

Or if your renovating your look- try putting up behind the scene photos of an expansion in your building, and some “before” picture to get your followers excited about your changes and pumped to come by and see what’s new!

Tip #3 Encourage people to spread the word!

You can get people to share your newest product or service to their social media networks by giving them an incentive to do so. Contest and giveaways that promote liking, commenting or sharing can get your practice some attention. Creating a “Share it to WIN it”! Campaign on your Facebook page is a great way to get your fans to share your ad for a chance to be entered into a drawing to win a free service or product.

Having your fans share your ads is a great cost effective way to get numerous eyes on what you’re up too! But, be sure to offer something generous that people will want to win!

Tip #4 Have someone interview you about what’s new at your practice!

You can use your various social media platforms, like your blog, or your YouTube channel to promote a quick interview about what your newest service is.  With social media, the less complicated the better! Grab someone from the office to ask you a few short questions and post the interview onto your blog for your readers. Or, do a quick video answering some questions that you think people might have about your newest service or product. Share your interview across all your social media channels to gain awareness and traffic!
